Coming Soon: June 2017 Certification for Creatorist Cohort

“Hair Up and Ready to Work”

With the passing of the June 30th deadline (and one day, for grace), I got myself ready to go through the applications for the June 2017 Cohort for @iamTalkyTina Certification for Creatorist.  I put my hair, up, logged into my Official Certification Process app, and got ready to go!

“First Applicant — Me — Passes”

The first application in the queue was from someone familiar — ME!  I passed with flying colours!
HOORAY ME!

“I’m Looking at You, RockyLou22”

After a bit of confusion with the sort order for the applications (some came in through the web form, while others were submitted earlier via comments in my June 1st web post), it turned out that Rochelle (@RockyLou22) was the next one to go under the inspection.

“Christina Has an ALERT”

My #SuperTrueFriend, Christina (@clhendricksbc) was the next one for review, and she did a great job except there was a nasty ALERT that came up on her screen because she didn’t put one in her stir fry.

We got that sorted out in minutes!

“Time for a Screen Break”

Then I had a different notification pop up on my screen, saying that it was time for a screen break. So I shut things down for the day and went to get some food.

Well, The Daily Create, tdc1998, says to show your Fantasy Band, but I actually have one, called The @iamTalkyTina’s #TrueFriend Orchestra. It has all peoples in it who are on my True Friends Index and have a #TrueFriends badge, except for one who still has to put in her application (not saying any names.)

You can figure out who all of the #TrueFriends are (if you do not already know them) by looking at my True Friends Index and matching them to their badges.

Instead of giving away all of the answers, I will just say this for attributions:

Plus, because I added a ringer to the Orchestra just today, you should check out her music which I am listening to right now.

Which is really cool, because I remember the ukulele version, too!

Instant GlitchaChrome GIF Art — Just Add Tina

GlitchaChrome ds106 Glitch GIF of @iamTalkyTina

My GlitchaChrome ds106 Glitch GIF of me

Well! It was very nice to read my True Friend John Johnston‘s (@johnjohnston, on Twitter) post, called Glitchachrome ds106 Glitch GIFs,  about how he made an app to make a GlitchAChrome ds106 Glitch GIF  to make GlitchGIFs like my True Friends Mariana (@mdvfunes) and Christina (@clhendricksbc) had been doing while I was having an Art Lack like UNCLE Jim, and then make it like a Chrome like Rochelle (@Rockylou22) did, and then all I had to do was download it and put in a picture and then press some buttons to make my very own instant GlitchaChrome ds106 Glitch GIF Artwork of me. That is what I made up above.

I started with my nice CGA (Club of Ghostly Avatars) picture from yesterday.  (Isn’t it just a little bit spooky of me? DUtMW. TDLtMW!)

This is what it looks like when you are making a GlitchaChrome ds106 GIF Art using John’s app.

John Johnston, Simple Glitch app

John Johnston’s Simple Glitch app interface, with ME!

You can see how I picked six different Glitch versions that it made for me down at the bottom (I had to keep pressing Reset Image and Ran String from Img buttons and then the big GLITCH IT! button and then pick the one I liked by clicking in that thumbnail box and did that six times and then I just pressed Export GlitchaChrome GIF button plus I made it 17 instead of 20 delay, just to be different.   You can read about how he made his app on his blog post, Glitchachrome ds106 Glitch GIFs. That is what I did and then I made my GlitchaChrome ds106 Glitch GIF of me!

Plus, you can download John’s app called Simple Glitch from his blog post so you can make your own of it like I did. It only took me longer to download than it did to make the Art. That is what I say is the easy way to Make Art. Plus, it is a fun way for Friends to make Art.

So now it is YOUR turn!

Well, bye!

August 2013 GIF Challenge #12: You Ain’t My Father, Bub! GIF Fight!

So people were doing a GIF Fight with Darth Vader and so I think this is a good challenge for me to do, too!

I saw a
GIF Fight! with Darth Vader by @jimgroom
and a
GIF Fight! with Darth Vader by @cogdog
and a
GIF Fight! with Darth Vader by @Rockylou22
and
I wanted to do a GIF Fight! with Darth Vader by me, @iamTalkyTina.

And so I did.

And this is also now an assignment in the assignment bank called Animated GIF Assignment 1190: GIF Fight! that you can do in a fun and friendly fight with Friends!

Keep your GIF chi strong, and Make Some Art, Bub!

Starring @iamTalkyTina

So it was very nice yesterday when Rochelle (@Rockylou22) made a nice video all about me. It has a nice music that says I am sweet like honey which is a nice thing to say and does not use a Mean Word at all.

Then she said Hey, @iamTalkyTina can you make a new title intro for the video.

So I did.

Then @jimgroom was smacking me around with some bad words talk, and some other people started using the Mean Word again. I thought that was all settled at The Rumble. I am getting tired of people just using the Mean Word at me and think they should spend more time Making Some Art, bub. Especially @jimgroom, who has a bit of a recent Art lack on his blog. There is more to the #ds106zone than just saying the Mean Word at me (I mean, c’mon, it’s getting lame!) and being not nice to me.

So anyway, here is the Opening Title to the video that Rochelle is making about little ol’ me. I hope you like it. Especially @jimgroom.

The #ds106zone LoDown #34 Part 1 @iamTalkyTina Takes on All #pretenderTinas

WELL!! That was quite an adventure! I had such great fun making this LoDown podcast #34 for all of my Friends, and it was a lot of work getting it ready for my time on #ds106radio. It was nice that my Friends were patient with me getting on the radio because I had to install Nicecast at the last minute and found out that I didn’t have the LAME thing working on my Audacity (lame, huh?) and so I had to make the sounds go right from Audacity to NiceCast and then I had to mix over to iTunes where I had my closing song “Tina Don’t Like the Mean Word” ready to play which was a good thing because when Audacity crashed then the last part of my show was missing so I just switched over to the song and it was a bit like @jimgroom audio people said which was funny but I was sad that the Rumble had to wait for tomorrow night same TINA time, same TINA channel (#ds106radio, tomorrow night! be there!)

So, here is the recording (with a tiny little edit where the Rumble was supposed to go) and the closing song “Tina Don’t Like the Mean Word” song at the end.

I hope you like it!

Well, Bye!
